Bryony Jarman-Pinto Joins Jazz North Panel

Bryony Jarman-Pinto has been appointed to the advisory panel for Jazz North's Northern Line, the organisation's live touring support programme for artists across the north of England. The role marks a significant step for the Lancaster-based vocalist, who previously benefited from the scheme as an alumni artist.

Northern Line has long served as a launchpad for emerging jazz talent, offering selected musicians touring support and industry connections. The panel, which includes figures from Serious, We Out Here, and other key organisations, selects artists through an open application process.

Jarman-Pinto's appointment reflects her growing influence in the UK scene following her 2024 album Below Dawn, a deeply personal work exploring motherhood and transformation. Her transition from supported artist to gatekeeper suggests the kind of career arc Northern Line was designed to facilitate.
