The Filthy Six Honor Jack McDuff

London's The Filthy Six have released "Jack Attack," a tribute to Hammond organ legend Jack McDuff, and the first single from their fourth album Return of The Swagger Junkies: Vol 1, due November 27 via Denver's Color Red label.

Recorded live to tape in one room, the track captures the band playing together without a safety net, leaning into the raw energy that's made them a standout on the UK soul-jazz circuit. Trumpeter Nick Etwell, who's worked with Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson, leads the sextet through greasy Hammond organ, roaring horns, and blues-drenched guitar locked into an irresistible groove.

The single was released August 28, 2026. The album follows on November 27.
