Bootie Brown Drops '2 Get 2 You'

Bootie Brown has released '2 Get 2 You', a club-inflected track that draws from hip-hop and house in equal measure. The three-time Grammy-nominated artist, best known as a founding member of The Pharcyde, teamed up with producer Les Lockheart for this latest solo offering.

The collaboration emerged from Brown's OrganicBeat Session show on PharcydeTV, where Lockheart is a regular featured beatmaker. "I heard this track and knew I could create something special with it," Brown explains. The single explores the elaborate methods people employ in pursuit of romantic attention, delivered with Brown's characteristic observational wit.

The release arrives while Brown maintains a busy schedule touring with Gorillaz, demonstrating his continued presence across multiple creative fronts more than three decades into his career.

'2 Get 2 You' is available now via streaming platforms.
