Emma Rawicz Announces Cloudwalker Album
Emma Rawicz has announced her new album Cloudwalker, set for release in autumn 2026, with a headline appearance at the EFG London Jazz Festival. The project marks a shift for the 23-year-old British saxophonist, who assembles a powerful international group working within an acoustic tenor saxophone formation.
Influences from Nordic jazz, contemporary classical harmony, rock, and Brazilian grooves blend into music that is both unique and deeply nuanced. The album follows her acclaimed ACT releases—Chroma (2023), the duo Big Visit (2025) with Gwilym Simcock, and Inkyra (2025).
Rawicz, a BBC New Generation Artist and recent Jazz FM Award winner for UK Jazz Act of the Year, continues her rapid ascent on the European scene. The album arrives later this year alongside an extensive tour schedule, with a date at Amsterdam's Bimhuis scheduled for January 28, 2027.
