Van Duikeren and Veenendaal Announce Winter Tour
Trumpeter Jan van Duikeren and Di-rect frontman Marcel Veenendaal announced a new album and winter tour on September 2. A new album will be released in 2026, primarily featuring original compositions, unlike their 2024 debut A Love Unveiled, which won the Edison Jazz Publieksprijs.
The pair, who first collaborated during the pandemic on Van Duikeren's Short Stories, share a passion for jazz that forms the foundation of their creative partnership. They'll be supported live by pianist Karel Boehlee, bassist Aram Kersbergen, and drummer Martijn Vink.
Tickets go on sale September 4 at 10:00, ranging from €29-€40, with December shows at Theater de Spiegel (Zwolle, 7th), SPOT Groningen (13th), Concertgebouw Amsterdam (14th), TivoliVredenburg Utrecht (16th), Muziekgebouw Eindhoven (17th), and Musis Arnhem (18th).
