RC & The Gritz Capture Paris Magic

RC & The Gritz released their new album Live in Paris on August 25th, marking a departure from their studio work. The ensemble, comprised of Grammy Award-winning and nominated musicians, has built their reputation as Erykah Badu's touring band, with RC Williams serving as her music director, producer, and keyboardist since the early 2000s.

The Dallas-based collective has navigated the space between backing band and standalone force since their establishment in 2004. Their previous studio releases—Pay Your Tab (2013) and The Feel (2016)—showcased their command of R&B, soul, and hip-hop intersections. This live album suggests a band confident enough to let the performance speak without studio polish.

The release follows their recent single "TIME" and precedes upcoming shows, including an April 18th appearance at Windmills Craftworks in The Colony, Texas.
