Cory Henry Returns with Devotion

Cory Henry has released Devotion, his second gospel album via Apostle Music Group, following his 2024 release Church, which won the 2025 Grammy for Best Roots Gospel Album.

The record features Stevie Wonder, Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, Jonathan McReynolds, and Lena Byrd Miles, with the 10-track album bringing together The Apostle Voices, The Fellowship Collective, and The Brent Fischer Orchestra. Henry calls it "gospel soul" and describes the songs as testimonies drawn from lived experience.

For an artist whose career has spanned Snarky Puppy, collaborations with Kanye West, and a Latin Grammy for his work on Rosalía's Motomami, this pivot toward sacred music feels less like departure than excavation—a return to the Pentecostal church where he started playing organ at age two.
