Voilaaa Celebrates a Decade of Afro-Disco

Voilaaa, the afro-disco project led by Lyon producer Bruno "Patchworks" Hovart, is marking its tenth anniversary with an extensive tour across France and Europe. Over nearly a decade and four albums, Voilaaa has carved out a distinctive niche reviving African rhythms through disco and funk arrangements.

Hovart is a hyperactive producer whose work has appeared on labels from Lyon to Detroit and Melbourne over the past fifteen years. Voilaaa Sound System brings together a collective for sets inspired by Notting Hill carnival energy—afro, disco, sweaty and furious.

The anniversary tour includes notable stops at Paris's New Morning on April 30, Barcelona's Paloma on March 28, and festivals including Garorock in Marmande on June 26 and Les Musicaves in Givry on June 27.
