The New Orleans-based artist shared her fantasy of wanting to be moss on a log in a future life—a playful meditation that signals a return to her political folk-hop duo after the introspective solo work of 2024's Amnesty.

Moss's solo debut emerged from pandemic isolation, channeling anxiety into guitar-driven compositions that marked a stylistic departure from her long-running collaboration with partner Joel Ludford. The new material suggests she's ready to reunite those threads. No release date has been announced yet.
