Candi Staton at Electric Paradise Festival

Candi Staton will headline the inaugural Electric Paradise Festival on August 8 at Milton Keynes National Bowl, alongside Grace Jones, UB40, and Kool & The Gang. The open-air event brings together disco, funk, soul and house across multiple stages, welcoming up to 50,000 attendees.

At 86, Staton remains a formidable presence on the global dance circuit. Her catalogue spans the southern soul of Fame Studios, the disco anthem "Young Hearts Run Free," and the enduring UK club staple "You Got the Love." Promoted by JBM Music, Electric Paradise is positioned as a long-term festival concept designed to become a staple of the U.K. summer calendar.

Tickets go on sale February 27 at 9 a.m., with first-release general admission starting at £59.50.
