Ruben Hein Unfolds New Musical Chapter

Dutch pianist and vocalist Ruben Hein is dedicating 2026 to new music, releasing a series of singles throughout the year that mark a fresh creative phase. The latest is 'It Feels Right', which dropped on April 17, following 2025's 'Weatherman' and 'Radio Silence'—tracks that saw him return to his soulful foundations.

Hein, known for his warm vocal timbre and work with the Metropole Orchestra and National Youth Jazz Orchestra, has built a steady career navigating the edges of jazz and contemporary pop since signing with Blue Note in 2010. The new material points toward evolution rather than reinvention—expect new work, a refreshed live set, and renewed energy on stage.

He'll road-test the material at intimate club shows including BIRD Rotterdam on October 30 and Patronaat Haarlem a day earlier.
