Jorja Smith Announces Club-Ready Album
Jorja Smith has announced her new album What Are the Odds, set for release on August 21, with lead single "Alive" featuring Wizkid. The project marks a distinct shift for the Walsall singer, traversing UK Garage, Grime, 2-Step, UK Funky, Soulful House, and Afro House.
The 12-track album includes collaborations with Wizkid and Devlin, and arrives via Smith's longtime home, FAMM. The release coincides with her co-headline performance alongside Tems at All Points East Festival in London's Victoria Park on the same day.
Smith has already shared two singles from the record—"What's Done is Done" in May and the latest, "Alive," which unfolds with the kind of slow-burn restraint that recalls Sade's gift for understatement.
What Are the Odds drops August 21 via FAMM.
