(U)nity

(U)nity was conceived in the summer of 2006 by Cuban American drummer Amaury Acosta & Cuban pianist Axel Tosca Laugart. They envisioned musical projects and ideas and aspired to create an completely original sound that has not been done before-- fusing their Afro Cuban Culture with modern Jazz and Hip Hop. In creating a completely original genre, we call “genre-less”, each and every note has the power to cross the lines that divide music and reach each listener in its own unique way.
